Ivy gourd is a member of the cucumber family, and it’s fruit somewhat resembles cucumber in taste. The only difference is in the size of the fruits–they are about two inches long, a way too smaller than the cucumbers. This vegetable is widely grown in many states like Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Maharashtra, Andhra Pradesh and more. It is widely used in Asian cuisine and for medical purposes due to its healthy character.
